Why do I keep getting a BFN if my period is so late?

I am almost 2 weeks late and every test say negative? Whats wrong? I am always REGULAR. My periods are like clockwork and come on every month on the same date! This is the closest I have been in a whole year and I keep getting BFNs! I am not stressed (excited) so I know that is not it! What else could it be?

I was 3 1/2 weeks late before I got my BFP. In fact, I had a negative blood test just 3 days before I got my BFP. You could have skipped due to stress or other factors, but I would act like you were pregnant until you see a second line in the window or blood on the TP. Good luck and baby dust!

You should see your doctor, you might have an ovarian cyst or other condition causing you to be late.
It honestly sounds like you're stressed to me. Any woman would be if they were two weeks late but didn't know the reasoning for it, especially if they have a regular cycle. Try to calm down. And try to not test for awhile either.

You could always go to the doctor for a blood test. They are more accurate than your HPTs.
you probably aren't pregnant. Even if you have perfect cycles it's normal for them to go haywire every now and then. If you are really concerned talk to your Dr. about it. They could find out if there is an underlying problem or give you a hcg blood test to find out what (if anything) is wrong.
get a blood test.....sometimes the period could be late for no reason so a blood test by now would confirm whether you're pregnant or not. Hope this helps!

i used to have a pet dog very very long time back during the 1960's, but unfortunately the dog got run over by a car and died. The car driver never stopped and continued going. After that i was so much full of grief that i never again bought another pet dog. It was a cute yorkshire terrier that got run over by car. I still have his very old black and white picture.

Now almost 4 decades, i feel like getting a yorkshire terrier again. is it too late now and i should forget it?

i think he would want u to move on and be happy if he was a true dogs best friend. he wouldnt want u to grieve. move on and get another dog. not to replace him but to fill a void n ur life for the want and need of a dog. but alway remember that special place n ur heart for ur late yorkie.

I think that this is completely up to you, but I'm sure that your former companion would not begrudge you the comfort of having another buddy. It's never too late to have a best friend, just make sure that you make plans for if you're not around to care for the dog at some point.
Get the new dog! When I had to put my beloved dog down 7 years ago, I swore I would never get another dog. I missed her so much and I didn't want to be disloyal. But a friend gave me a puppy who turned out to be the best therapy ever for my grief.

That puppy became my best friend and remained so until she died of an inoperable brain tumor last March. Again I SWORE I would never get another dog. But I so missed my best friend and after talking to my vet, I was convinced that getting a new dog would actually be honoring my sweet girl's memory. What a compliment to her that I loved her so much and thought she was so wonderful that she made me want another dog to love. Now I have a 9 month old boxer puppy who I love desperately. I will NEVER forget my other dogs. I loved them each with my whole heart. But how great it is to have my new companion!

Please allow yourself to feel the love for another dog. It is the best thing in the world.

After all this time, you should be able to share youself again with another friend. But at your age, make sure that you make arrangements for your friend should you get seriously ill , or God forbid, pass away.

If you feel ready for another pet, its not too late. Each person has to grieve a loss in their own way. You were not ready to accept another Yorkie then.. but if you are now, go for it!

I think that your previous Yorkie would like to see you happy. He knows you are a good owner and will give the new one lots of love. What happened to him was an accident, it was not your fault.

You clearly loved your dog- don't grief but feel lucky that you were able to spend time with him, even if it was for a short while, be thankful and be glad that you know you have given him a good life and that God took him away from you because he needed a beautiful dog angel to show those poor abandoned, mistreated and tortured animals what love is.

I strongly believe that your dog is up there looking at you and grieves when you grieve, he wished that he could change things as he never wants to see you be upset. He wants to love you and he can at an emotional level but as much as he wishes, he can't be by your side licking your hand just to show how much he loves you.

He is sorry that he had to leave and he is trying to tell you that he wants you to feel the love that he wanted to continue to give you.

I am sure he wants you to get another dog, ideally even adopt one rather than buying one (you know that mills dogs suffer terribly- so please don't support that and adopt a dog instead of buying a pup -the mill dogs there suffer and suffer ). I don;t know how old you are but there is nothing worst in the world than a dog being all alone because their owners are too ill to look after them- so if appropriate, make alternative arrangements just in case. I mean hey I am only 25 but touch wood, who knows what will happen tomorrow so I have made it clear to my boyfriend that I want him and my family to look after my dogs should something happen (touch wood)!

Love does not end because you are no longer physically connected, rather that love can continue to grow in your heart. You dog doesn't want to see you upset and he knows that you are capable of great love and wants you to love and care for another dog just as you did with him. Dogs are not jealous nor selfish, he wants another dog to live a good life- of course not too take his place but to be there to comfort you.

Who knows- depending on what religion you are, maybe your dog has reincarnated to be the new dog that you are thinking of getting- regardless my point is- your dog would not think this way- dogs are the most generous creatures on earth. So get another dog provided you can love and care for him/her like you had with your other dog.

To 2wesite- that is a terrible thing, what pain and suffering and panic the dog must have gone through while it was dying, as she frantically tried to get the bag off- I think that you should have been more careful to make sure nothing is left on the ground and to teach your children, I mean after all who throws empty bags on the floor anyway? No one can judge how you're feeling inside. Many, many years ago my stepdaughter left an empty potato chip bag on the floor and we came home to a dead dog. She had gotten her head into the bag to get the crumbs and suffocated - our family was heartbroken. This was an entirely preventable accident, I still think about it. We've had other dogs since, still have two and for us us it wasn't an option to live without our dogs, they are so much a part of our lives. Everyone grieves differently when they lose a pet and the fact that you are now thinking about another probably means you are ready. Good luck.

If you don't own your own home, and you're in the US, you could just stop paying them altogether. There's a law here that says creditors can't attach social security, so if you just don't pay, they really have no recourse against you unless your loan is secured.

The other options...call the credit companies. Most will put you on a repayment plan, and agree to dropping the late fees and will usually either reduce or eliminate the interest altogether if they understand you're on social security. They'll do this because they know that without your willingness to pay, they will get absolutely nothing due to the social security laws.

Call a bill consolidation service. They might be able to help. You might also call a credit counselor. If these people can't help, they might know of someone that can.

The first thing you should do is seek out some local professional advice - in the UK we have the citizens advice bureau and the national debt helpline who offer free assistance.

In principal, you should get in contact with your creditors - at the moment you are probably just an account number which is processed automatically - make yourself known.

Most lending institutions want you to manage your debt (in the UK, they are obliged to help you), so when making contact, tell them you are having problems meeting the payments, ask for a freeze on interest and charges, ask them for time to pay and finally, suggest a realistic payment period - even $5 a month is fine as long as you can afford it and as long as you can show why it is all you can afford.

The first letter should ask to establish a voluntary payment agreement. Assuming they agree, you will then probably be asked to suggest a payment and perhaps submit a short summary of your income and outgoings.

Deal with it in writing and tell them that - firstly it gives you more time; secondly, it gives you an opportunity to think about the questions they will ask. Also, if they ever have to go to court to get an order, the written correspondence will prove your good intentions and make it difficult to show you as a bad debtor. Remember, if you are not intending to default on payment, it is much harder to treat you as such.

The downside is that your credit card will be of no use until it is paid off (although if you use it for essential services, they may agree to a limited facility).

You should call your local Trustee's Office tomorrow.....you can't file bankruptcy of any kind w/out completing a financial education class. The Trustee will provide you a list of approved classes.....You need to take it and then when you decide IF Bankruptcy is the way to go, you are ready to file.....

However, if your total debt is less than 5K, I'd pay them off......since your credit is already destroyed.....why don't you just pay on ONE card (smallest balance first) all the money you can, then after that is paid off....put all your efforts into the next card....

Those accounts are probably closed for constant late pymts anyway, so if your goal is just to get them paid off, who cares if you focus on one card at a time - the damage is already done.

Further, you should also call each creditor - and politely ask them to waive the late fees for a finite period of time...(this won't work if you don't make any monthly payment to them).....

Conceptrol inserts. Goes in like a tampon. It's a little messy but doesn't require planning (like using a diaphram) and it's not as bad as foam. You can start immediately after it's inserted so no waiting like with the contraceptrive film.

no its not to late. use the pill but ask your doc about it or the pharmisist.
I have found that the pill is the best - particularly the standard 28 day pill.

They say to wait 2 months for the pill to go in to effect.

Your best bet would be to schedule an appointment with your OB/GYN to discuss more options with you.
its probably not a good idea to try the pill. most pills take 3 months to be effective. you can take the morning after pill. You could also get the shot which has been every effective for my sister. The best thing about the shot is you only have to go every three months to get a shot. no forgetting just write it on the calender.
If you are good at remembering to take the pill..... start as soon as you can. My sister did the Depo shot but gained 35 pounds. You could have an IUD inserted. Talk to your GYN. When I started the pill a few years ago before my husbands vasectomy my GYN told me to I did not have to use anything else since you start the pill the Sunday after your period starts or on Sunday if that is the day you start your period and it takes 7 days to get into your system. There are so many different kinds of pills out there I do not remember what it was called.

Even if you are told to use alternate forms of birth control for a few weeks after you start the pill, your husband would only have to use condoms for a short time.

Generally, it takes about a month for birth control pills to work. I would definitely suggest getting on either pills, patch, or even the depo shot. Talk to your doc about which would be most beneficial to you. In the meantime, you may want to use a condom for that extra assurance. They do have other over-the-counter methods (for women) in the condom section. You may find that helpful. Good luck!
The safe period of the pill is one month. The pill does work if you create a strict discipline of taking it every day at the same hour. If you choose the pill always have them in the one purse you always use. Set your cellphone to beep at an hour you are comfortable (830pm works for me). First month you may stain a bit but it's normal. Go to a family planning clinic, or to your doctor. Try to do this as quick as possible. There's also the ring. Do not know the name, maybe nuva ring or something. I do not know if the effects are immediate. I really suggest you talk to a doctor or family planning specialist. You can always try the diaphragm. Do tell your boyfriend to take it easy, i mean, if you are going to get married, at first you can use condom, and as soon as it is safe with only pills or whatever contraceptive you choose, then go bare. If you are getting married, i assume is forever, so, can't he wait a month or a couple of weeks to go bare? Better to use a condom while it isn't safe, than to have a baby in the first year of marriage. Hope it works out!
I was on Ortho-tricyclen for 8 years and loved it. I went off of it and it took me only 4 months to get pregnant. Soon after I delivered I went on Depo and hated it. I spotted for 6 weeks and when I went off it I didn't have a normal period for 3 months.

At that time I started the Nuva ring which I really like and am currently using. There are many options out there. What works best for you may not work best for someone else. I also looked at webmd to make my choice based on my needs.

If you start taking the pill on the first day of your period, it will start working in less than 1 week. I personally think pills are the best option for me. I didn't have any side effects while I was on in for 5 years. I was also worried that I wouldn't be able to get pregnant right after I get off the pill...but I got pregnant a week after I got off so if you are ready to have child you can just get off and try to have a baby. However I've heard about women getting pregnant while on the pill. If you are taken correctly at the same time everyday, it's 98% effective.
What I have found to work the best is a Copper IUD. Your doctor inserts it, and you never have to worry about it again, and it starts working right away. You simply go back to your doctor and have it taken out if would like to have a child, other than that it can stay inside of you for 10 years. Very effective, and little to no side effects.
IUD if your insurance will cover it. If not, they run about $500. You will most likely stop getting your period withing 6 months, although you may have some heavy bleeding at the beginning. The IUD stays in place for 5 years and can be removed at any time.

Well, once you stop taking birth control, it takes your body a while to get re adjusted functioning without the pill. It is very common to miss or be late the first period you are suppose to have after you stop taking birth control. BUT there is a possibility that you may be pregnant, so you should take a pregnancy test just too be sure. Go to yahoo and side effects of stopping birth control. If she has given notice then firing her immediately probably isn't worth the trouble, I'd simply send her home for the remainder of her tenure with you. Pay her for the time but make it known that she won't be getting a reference from you. She's screwed when she tries to get another job and your other employees will understand downside to trying the same stunt.
Write her up/ fire her. Remember, this also serves as an example if another employee gives in their resignation in the future, you don't want your employees thinking that just because they are quitting they can act up. The whole point in the 2 weeks notice is so that you have time to find a replacement. If she's not working like she should, there is no reason for you to keep her there and pay her for it. You already gave her warning, and she had the audacity to respond that way. She'll regret her behavior when she loses 2 weeks pay.

If it is miscarriage,you should have know that by having a pregnancy hpt.i heard a lot of similar stories and its not pregnancy. You cycle just start to mess up due to hormonal imbalance which provenly common among women who ttc.

My periods changed, quite suddenly, when I was in my early 30s. Just like that! One month I was having a 5-day period every 28 days, the next month I was getting 3 or 4 days of spotting before a 3 days period, and a 25-day cycle. Strange. Once it changed, it stayed like that (I'm now 37) but my fertility is still fine. I'm TTC and I know that I ovulate because of my CM and BBTs.

You might like to try FertilityFriend.com or another charting website. I discovered with FF.com that I ovulate REALLY early in my cycle (the past 2 months it's been as early as day 10) so knowing that kind of thing is very important. We've changed our BD pattern accordingly and BD from day 8-12 now, instead of the usual suggestion for most women of day 12-16. If I hadn't known more about ovulation I could have TTC for years and years and there's no way I'd have become pregnant!

I don't think your situation is from miscarriage as it's becoming a repeated pattern; I think your hormones simply changed and that happens a lot. Good luck with TTC! xoxox

Is it to late to really get serious about figure skating?

I am 13 years old and I love figure skating. I have been doing it since fall now. I can do all the basic stuff [t-stops, reg. stops, crossovers, backwards crossovers...] and i can do a lunge, a backwards lunge, and i can do shooting the duck just not for very long.

I have learned this much in once a week half an hour classes with half an hour of free time.

I love figure skating, I would give up eating all fat food and going to the mall with my friends to skate, I love it.

Is it to late to get into serious competition?

no its not to late to start figure skating. your only 13 and you already know how to skate around. im 13 i want to make the olympics and i dont even know how to do what you already know how to do.and you say you learned that in a short time which means learning fast gives you a great bonus once you start to learn jumps. Since you want to be serious about the sport, giving up eating fat food and going to the mall with your friends means your very dedicated just like me (because i dont really have friends) i watch skating i read skating and practically think about skating thats how dedicated i am to it. But the thing is that you have to give up alot to become proficient in the sport and im glad that your willing to give up all of that for just skating.

Just so you know i dont think its too late for you to become a champion. about the lessons thing. i say do atleast three 30 minute private lessons a week. that would be a great starting point in your career. the problem is that skating does get expensive. for a beginner you'll probably be spending maybe 5,000 a year for skates and everything. dont listen too anyone here that says you cant make it. i used to post questions here and some were helpful but most would just put me down. good luck i know you could make it and i know i could too

first of all i would like to say that is very good for you have done so far in such little time, but i need to be honest you are prob too old to get into the Solo area but there are other options for you like pairs or dance, but you can compete in many comps now when you are up to standard.

i was 8 years old when i started skating that was a late starter! most of my friends were at it from 2! i missed out on a few primary and junior championships only because i past the age before passing my tests, so i aimed for the Senior ladies championships and i passed all tests and competed in the British championships for a few years and went on to do nationals.

i was a very quick learner which was helpful!

i was skating 6 days a week and somethimes 7 running up to competitions and i was starting at 6am in the morning through to 5pm in the evening and then doing Off ice in between i was very dedicated and i acheived what i wanted and much to my mum and dad's expense not a cheap sport!!

i now coach the sport as i had to retire due to injury.

I started taking lessons at 32, and a year later I'm up to Freestyle 2 (1/2 jumps, one foot spins, dance sequence) and loving it! I know I"ll never be seriously competing, but I still get a lot of joy out of mastering the moves as an adult. Stick with it - if you're skating through a rec program at a rink, maybe look into semi-private lessons vs. group lessons. They're more expensive, but you get more time on the ice and more one on one time with the instructor. good luck!
no way! You should practice atleast 5 hours a week. Ask your coach to let you go into a fun competition and you'll love it. Solos are very fun and you get an extra lesson for it. It's fun to play around with your coach and see witch moves suit you the best.
you can get in serious competition but... i don't think it's possible though. Just so you know it takes a lot of money, I MEAN A LOT. Private lessons are one thing but you have to devote all your time and energy into skating really hard. You have to want it, and want it real bad. If you want to get to the Olympics and stuff you have to get a coach and a choreographer.... Anyway, I really don't think you have enough time. You'll know what I'm talking about when you get to FS4 or FS5.

I know that when I got off from the depo shot it took me 15 months to get pregnant with my second. That shot can mess with your hormones, making your ovulate at different times and making your monthly fluctuate. So getting your body back to "normal" takes a while after you stop using it. It took my body 13 months to get back on a regular cycle. Then 2 months later I conceived my son. So just wait it will happen.

I don't think that the shot would have anything to do with making you have a late period, especially since you took the shot two weeks ago. The problem may be a change in your hormones. Your safest option would be to go to the ob/gyn or call to the office and talk to the nurse. If you didn't get your hpv shot there, call the office where you got the shot at. If they seem to think there is a problem, then they will probably ask you to come in for an appointment.

I got negatives until I was 6 weeks. My aunt got negatives all throughout her pregnancy (picture a huge 8 month pregnant woman getting negative pee tests...the doctors tested her at every visit because they wanted to see if it would EVER show positive, although she was obviously with child...it didn't), but that was 20 years ago. It's possible. My mom always says that an hour of sleep before midnight is like 2 hrs of sleep after midnight.

I think though that more likely than not, your skin is just very thin, and so your veins below your eyes are very visible (I have the same problem). Of course they get worse with the less sleep and more stress I have in my life.

Try some creams that are designed to not only fade the dark circles, but to thicken the skin around the eye. I know they exist, but unfortunately I cannot remember any brand names.

I bought a motorcycle back in January to rebuild as a project. I didn't know I had to have the vin number verified as its a out of state title and since I didn't have a truck I couldn't transport it to get it verified.

Soo... the bike sat in my carport till I had a chance to tear it down to the frame, put the frame in my trunk, and then get it verified many months later.

So I go to get a new title and apparently there is a $25 fee for every month that its late... and I've hit the maximum of $200. Normal fees are only $18.

I really don't want to pay a $200 late fee on a bike that I only paid $100 for. But I don't want to part it out as I've got lots of good parts that I want to built a running bike.

What can I do? Try to find a new frame for less? Or is there any way to appeal a late fee? Would it be easier to just get a new title outright for the frame?

Even if your partner cannot truly ejaculate during intercourse he would have still had pre-ejaculatory fluid that does contain some amount of sperm. You can be pregnant and have cramping.

My suggestion is that if you are that concerned and you are past due for your period you should go out and get a pregnancy test. They are highly reliable. They test for the pregnancy hormone, HCG...mine were always right....

Since I am a full time student living off my student loans our debt to income is crazy high. So we can't refinance. I even contacted our current mortgage holder (American's Servicing Company) and completed the paperwork for loan modification. However, they said our debt to income is too high and we were denied. I asked them, " So you would rather forclose on a property than help us keep our current rate when we have never been late on a payment?" I am not sure what my question is. The bank cannot simply allow every ARM holder in danger of foreclosure to modify their existing loan agreements. Otherwise, why would they offer the products in the first place - if they are not going to enforce them?

Do you have any savings? The new payment amount is generally calculated using the unpaid principal balance + the new interest rate + over the remaining term in substantially equal payments.

As such, if you can make a large principal payment before your "change date", then the new payment amount COULD be lower - depending on how much higher your interest rate would be too. Just a suggestion.

Finally, keep trying to suggest a modification or even a short sale. Sometimes, lenders will not negotiate when you are current - which it sounds as though you are at present.

The new stimulus plan has programs for mortgage refinancing, so there may be some help there. Talk to your bank and ask what you have to do to make them willing to refi you. It really isn't in their best interests to foreclose on you. Talk to more than one person there. They usually have customer assistance people who are more flexible, and maybe you can get a loan modification.
Every bank has differetn qualifications for loans. It is great to talk to a broker because brokers have access to tons of banks and if there is a program available for you we will have it. You also exaggerated your question...the bank never told you they would foreclose, you threatened to stop making the payments, and that is a natural occurance, but they CANNOT foreclose RIGHT NOW.

I suggest you lay-off the student loans for now, get a part-time job, and kick some money toward the mortgage and student loans until you pay it down enough to go back and refinance on a fixed.

ok so my last period was June 24th and we're now in Sep. and i still haven't had a period, i took many hpt's of different brands and they all came out Neg, i have been late before but not this late. In the middle of July i started spotting like a brownish color and i thought my period was going to start possibly even early but sure enough i spotted for 3 days then it stopped. Aug. came around, and some time in the beginning of the month i started spotting again and i was sure my Period was going to start, it was a pinkish color and it only lasted 1 day. So i went to my Dr. 2 weeks ago and took another pregnancy test and it came out Neg. I've had headaches, soreness in my lower back, and i get pain in my lower abdomin area. i would go to the doctors and have them do an ultrasound and blood test. my friend had this happen to her and she took a pregnancy test and it was 2 negatives, one positive. she went to the doctors adamant she was pregnant and he didnt believe her. a month later she was rushed into hospital and went straight under the knife because she had and ectopic.

i dont mean to be the bringer of what could be bad news but ectopics can kill as they cause internal bleeding so please be strict about this with your doctor and make sure something is done to rule this out.

tell them your worried that this might be what is causing all this and make sure they take you seriously. do not leave until something is done.

my friend eventually got it dealt with and because of an infection caused by the late op, she had to have a hysterectomuy as well so now she will never have children. this is important so sort it out immediately.

You should have an ultrasound. If you are pregnant you will see the baby, if not they will be able to look for whatever else would be causing this. I know of another person whose doctor swore she was not pregnant until they saw the baby on the ultrasound. Good Luck!

I'd be asking for a blood test and an ultrasound (sonagram). Pregnancy tests can often give a false negative (if there is not enough hormone present in the urine). Have you had other symptoms, like swollen sore breasts, nausea, tiredness? I'd be pushing for other tests to make sure that everything is ok, and an ultrasound should quickly show you what's going on.

You could have endometriosis. I have it and about three days before my period actually starts I will have cramping and intense lower back pain. You could also be pregnant even though you used protection. The only 100% foolproof protection is to not have sex at all. See your doc to be sure.

I take Go Transit and it seems like we are late everyday. I was overjoyed in January when train was only 3 minutes late. Most times it is 7 - 10 minutes late arriving to train station in Toronto. I take the Brampton/Georgetown line. Been taking the train for 20 + years and this seems to be one of the worst years in quite a while.

The MARC commuter train system in MD is usually reliable other than the occasional derailment or other glitch. I started taking MARC to travel to DC and I'd rather be on the train rather than in a car. For my trips, the trains have been on schedule but the extreme cold caused a 5 minute delay - no biggie.

I would guess that the Go Transit needs to update the schedules if the trains are consistently late.

I never really did envision commuting to work very far and I've always wondered about people who do.

Go to a different clinic. Do you have a history of low HcG? If so then you need to tell them this! Good luck.
I would recommend getting a second opinion. Try going to a Medical School if there's one close to your area.
I'd switch Dr's. They can't deny you a blood test.

Also, Low hCG levels doesn't necessarily mean you won't have a normal healthy pregnancy.

You've got to get a pregnancy test - they are only about 7 bucks. It sounds like the redish discharge is the start of your period but when some women are pregnant they can get that discharge too - sometimes women are just late - i didn't have a period at all last month and i was freaked out too lol. Just relax and go buy the test, make sure you follow the directions on it - the best time to pee on the stick is in the morning - oh, and cramps are likely a sign that you are starting too - are you getting shooting pains in your breats? your breasts will become really painful when you are pregnant.

If your blood test was negative, then you are not pregnant. Sorry, I'm sure it's hard but you'll have to keep trying. Have you been to a fertility clinic to see if there is something you can do to help it along?

It's somewhat hard to say.

If your cycle is normally very regular at 28 days and it's day 33 and you still haven't gotten your period, there is a good chance that you could be pregnant if you had unprotected sex or if your contraceptive didn't work properly and you were active during your "fertile window"

However, other things can cause a normally-on-time period to be late, such as stress. Sometimes, regular periods can run a little late for no obvious reason at all.

I would suggest getting a couple pregnancy tests. It's best to take one with your first morning urine because that is when your urine is usually the most concentrated with HCG (the hormone that is present during pregnancy that the home pregnancy tests check for) If you get a positive result, then it's very safe to say that you're pregnant. If you get a negative, that's a little trickier because false negatives are very common due to testing to early. If you still haven't gotten your period in a week or a few days- test again.

You could also go to your doctor's office and ask for a blood test. Blood tests are more accurate than Home Pregnancy Tests, however there is no "home" version of a blood test- you have to go to your doctor's office, an immediate care clinic, a planned parenthood or pregnancy help center, or a diagnostics lab.

Chances are you are not pregnant. I used to worry about feeling a heartbeat in my stomach too. But, I'm not pregnant and I can feel my heartbeat there too. The baby would be no larger then a piece of rice, pretty hard to feel a heartbeat off of that. If you even talk to your doctor about it they'll disregard it (been there).

I do not recommend the shot though! There are so many better options for birth control. I took it 1 time and had my period for the entire 3 months, and my hair would fall out in clumps in the shower! My sister was on it about 2 years. She didn't get her period for a year, then she had it for 6 months straight.

Just keep an eye on your symptoms. If your breasts start to become tender and you get cramping like your period is coming but, it doesn't, take another test.

No there is a I believe a 7 day window period it might be 10 to get the depo shot around your due date. Depo is not like the pill, it takes several months for your body to start ovulating on depo
Although I am not all to familiar with the Depo Shot. It is more that less likely you are pregnant. It take a couple of weeks and sometimes months before your system rests to having regular ovulation cycle. But it also depend on how long you have been getting the shot. If not long (like you just started) you might want to have a blood test to be sure.

first of all, how do you know he precame??? nobody can feel that...

second, you can't feel a babies heartbeat, but you do have a main artery going down your tummy, that's probably what you're feeling...

did you call your dr. who gives you your depo?? they will do a pregnancy test, then you can rest easy...
when you take the depo shot, even just once, it takes between 6-12 months for you to begin to ovulate again once you have stopped taking it so there is little to no chance that you are pregnant as for the feeling of the heartbeat you cannot feel the babies heartbeat in your stomach i don't know how long ago this was but it usually take 19-22 weeks before the mother starts to feel the baby move i think that you are just paranoid but if it still bothers you then go to the doctor and they will do a pregnancy test for you but if i were you i really wouldnt worry about it
Something that might help you with that heartbeat thing:

if you feel a heartbeat that is about the same stength of your, or about the same speed, its not the baby.

a babys heart beats at least 2 times faster then your heart does.

I think OTC test are pretty sensitive now, but you could go to the doctor and have a blood test. I would think the doctor would advise that you wait at least a week. It took me 6 months to conceive. The best thing to do is relax and practice a lot!

So here I am again :( still wondering what is happening!

Period is now 2 days late, I know by many questions posted on here, that is not much.

I started feeling bloated and gassy last Monday. These symptoms have died down but nausea seems to have settled in. I have also noticed over the past few days that I go through feelings of hot flushes, I have NEVER experienced this before. My temp is up but only minimally. I have had cramps on and off since Friday when I thought my period had arrived but nothing!

Today the nausea ramped up in intensity although has come in waves. I was at work today and had to make a quick exit to the bathroom as I was VERY close to vomiting.

I tested on the day of my missed Period - came back negative. I've decided to wait till next Sunday before I test again.

What's everyone's thoughts?

Eat a (cold) snack to help you stay awake, but don't eat a big cooked meal because it will just make you sleepy. When you need to sleep and can't because of the coffee, drink hot milk or read a really boring book.

And buy caffeine tablets tomorrow, to stay awake to do the exam! You are going to be short on sleep either way, careful you don't oversleep %26amp; perform badly.

im a junior in high school. and i want to get into unc. unc is pretty competitive. they only accept 35% of their applicants. im an in state resident and a lot of people from my area will probably be applying. i didn't do so well my first two years of high school, but now im determined to do something about it. what can i do, besides improve my gpa (3.2 right now) and sat scores? is it too late for me? will taking easy unc courses help me? what kind of extra curriculars should i do? (im planning to do summer college this summer) its it really important that i join clubs at school? what if i just want to volunteer at the hospital, summer college etc.? are those enough?

my second question: if they say that you should apply for colleges before senior year or during first semester of senior year, does that mean that half or all of senior year doesnt even count? i mean, do colleges even see your grades from senior year?

It's never too late. I didn't even plan on going to college until all my friends did the 'where are you going?!' So I applied to 1 school and got in.. lucky me. Any who... on to question number two... They still look at what you do your second semester of HS. But as long as you don't fail all of your classes you're fine.

Nope, it's never too late. If anything, colleges love to see improvement. Plus, you can write about how you turned a new leaf yadda yadda in your essay to account for your first two years, and show how you've changed.

Since your grades and SATs aren't impressive, focus on extracurricular activites, and I mean focus. The easiest way is to join clubs (with the intention of becoming an officer the following year), but since you'd only be starting junior year it's probably okay to just volunteer outside of school. Put a lot of effort into volunteering, though, don't just do it so you can put it on your application. That's cheap. Plus, if you work hard, you can get a good recommendation from your supervisor.

Your question "are those enough?" worries me. If you really, really want to get into this school, that's the wrong type of attitude to have. Do as much as you can.

Junior year counts the most, but senior year is important as well. Colleges evaluate your grades at the end of the year as well, and if they're not happy with them, they have every right to take you off the accepted list.

Yes, you could very well be! This happened to me with all three of my pregnancies. I was crampy, bloated, moody, etc. I felt exactly as I did before I got my period. I was positive I was getting my period, but then all of these symptoms just stopped.

Just keep paying on time, and time will heal all wounds.

Once it has been reported to the credit bureaus, it is pretty hard to have it removed... But by making your payments on time from here on out, the late payment mark should roll off (you would in fact be repairing your own late mark by making your payment on time each month.

If that was true every insomniac would be a crater face. I've had problems with insomnia since I was small but have never had a acne problem.

Acne can be caused by things like stress or but not by lack of sleep.

Note to Lucy: Your pores don't switch off when you go to sleep. There is no such thing as more time to get clogged.
Your body does all its repairing and cell reproduction when your asleep. So i guess if you don't sleep, then your body can't repair itself. For example if your ill the doctor tells you to get lots of rest right? That's so the good cells in your body can produce quicker and overcome the virus. Crunch time. Gather all your wedding party together sans stephorror. Get a computer with a printer and make out your own invitations while the wedding party starts addressing the envelopes. Get the invitations from Staples, Office Depot, Target, or some craft store.

Or talk to an invitation maker and see if they can assist in a rush order.

No you are not overracting your wedding invites should have been mailed like 6 weeks ago. Your best bet is to get your bridal party together and call all your guest and giving them the info and seeing if they are able to come or not
Go to Hobby Lobby or JC Moores and get a DYI invitation kit. If you have a decent printer you can do this at home.

Do not wait any longer!

Send a letter to everyone, saying there's a wedding and when. Then say, details will follow...
Since she hasnt mailed them to you and you need to send them to guests I recomend that you do the invitations yourself, on computer (so it's easier) and just send them. That's why you can't depend on people for this type of things. It's better if you to do it oyurself.

Why are they late getting to you? Has she just not done them, is she still doing them? I would just call and ask her when she expects to be through with them so you know whether you need to go a different route. If you don't have them in your hands by tomorrow, I would do them yourself. It's not too late to get them done elsewhere. You can go to Michael's, Wal-Mart or even your local party store like Party City and buy the boxes of blank wedding invitations that normally come in packs of 50. They include the invite, envelope, response card, envelope and I believe reception card. Just print them yourself. Or you can go online to places like www.rexcraft.com or any online invitation site, pick out the invitation, call them and give them the wording over the phone, have them email or fax you a proof of what the invitation will look like, approve it and then choose expedited shipping but if you're 3 weeks away, I'd call your guests and just let them know there was a mix-up with the invites and remind them of the date and assure them they're invitation will be coming shortly. But I would really just call the step mother first to find out what's going on before you spend money on invitations you may not need. Whatever you decide to do, do it ASAP because really you're supposed to send the invitations out 6-8 weeks in advance and allow yourself about 2 weeks to notify your caterer of the headcount.
It's not too late to order invitations. There are many companies who can send an order out in a few days.

But...the step mother is supposed to make them...I would suggest that you call as many of your guests and let them know that they will be invited and that the invitations are late getting out. Once she has them all ready, have her express ship them to you, fill them out as quickly as possible and get them in the mail.

3 weeks is not enough time to get responses back. If you have a computer print invitation and call everyone on the list to get a head count. Get mailing labels also.

No, you are not overreacting. Did you send out save the dates? I would try to contact as many people as you can to give them a heads up. Tell them what happened. Have you confronted her about this? What has she said?
I just got done today making my message in a bottle invites. I printed out my own invitations on fine parchment paper I got from an office store (10.00) and rolled them up, put them in a glass bottle that had sand (free from the beach) and small shells, you can even get those from the dollar store if you can't find them on the beach. Stuck the invitation in the bottle and I am going to hand deliver the invitations:) It took me an hour to so to do all this once I had the stuff for them to make them!!!!

I would say you could cheaply make some "Save the Date" Cards just so people could have something before the date comes so they will be available but 3 weeks is not very long at all!!!!!!!!!

Also you can get invites that are really cute from wal-mart or any office store that comes with everything you need for 20 bucks,you can just print the information on them using your computer!!!! Good Luck!!

Just remember- you can make them look just as good by doing them yourself. The people you order from do the same thing you would do, use a computer!!!! That's how they make their money.

First of all, take a deep breath. And another. You are getting married, it's supposed to be super exciting! Take a moment to think about that.

Now: Have you talked to your soon to be mother in law yet? Why are the invitations so late? Is she still planning on mailing them? If so, take a few hours and call everyone on your guest list. If they haven't heard you're engaged, it's a great time to tell them. Let them know there were some problems getting the invitations printed in time, but you'd love for them to come. You can give them some of the details. They'll usually tell you if they think they can make it.

If she's completely dropped the ball, call your guest list and apologize for the delay. Let them know that you are in the process of getting invitation done, but there were some glitches along the way. Tell them you'd still like them to come. Again, you can give them more details when you call them.

Most people won't be upset that they haven't received an invitation if you call them and let them know it's coming. Plus, it helps with get a count for the food and everything else.

If she doesn't make them, and you don't have time to do a kit or hire someone else, talk to your bridal party. I am sure they'd love to help you out with this. You could also talk to other close friends or other relatives.

Overnight your letters or give each invitee a phone call and explain your situation, giving them details on how to get to your wedding. Rent a van and arrange for the in-laws to pick up people from the airport or from out of town if necessary.
You are NOT overeacting. One thing though, TRY not to blame your fiance, and if the arguing is primarily over the invites, STOP.

As far as mailing them, of course you should. Are you able to pick them up from your future mother-in-law, even if it means a 2-3 hour drive? If so do that, and mail them as quickly as possible. If not, you may not have enough time to order any, but you can make them yourself. Most office supply stores have invites and software to make on your computer. You may not get the paper or decor on the invite that you originally wanted, but at least you do have the option of making your own. The software should contain ways of wording the invites. If not, go to the library. There are many books to help you word the invites. Once you figure out your wording, font and color, it takes little time to print them out. If you want some sort of "Tissue", in the invites, again, office supply store or stationary stores, such as places that you could order invites. Again, I realize it may not be ideal, but it works in a pinch. You can also add personal touches to make it as much yours as the originals should have been. Ribbon, etc. from craft stores. In the meantime, and some would consider this poor manners, start calling as many people as you can, invite them and explain about the mix-up. Call it that, a mix-up. Don't get into the whole story for now. If possible, if asked what happened, try to leave the anger out when explaining. By leaving the anger out, you are not putting your guests in an uncomfortable position.

First things first....Breath deep breaths. Second, don't argue with your husband to be about the invitations, because truthfully it is someone elses fault and both of you have no control over it. Third, i would suggest that u either call all your guest over the phone. (it is very personal and sweet, you might enjoy doing this.) Or call a place that makes invitations and tell them it's an emergency, they will understand, they deal with the unexpected all the time. They are used to it. And most importantly have fun with your fiance, this is supposed to be the most happy time of your life, please don't let invitations stop that. Have Fun and congratulations!!!!!
INSTEAD OF SENDING INVITES OUT, JUST CALL YOUR INVITEES. This may sound stupid, but most likely they won't have time to plan if they only have two weeks notice (once your invites go through the mail). Say that you had some logistical issues with the invites and weren't able to send them out. Say that "we would really appreciate your presence, and sorry about the short notice". Most people give at least two months to get the invites out.

People are busy and chances are, you won't have many guests at your wedding. I don't want to judge, but maybe in the future you should handle these things yourself or keep a better eye on someone who may be distracted.

Seriously, a personal phone invitation is the best way, and you won't have to wait for RSVPs to return.

Your fiance is responsible for asking her if they're ready. It is his step-mother. If they are not, you should think about doing them yourself on the computer. There are also come quick-print places that can get some out for you quite fast. You're not over-reacting. This is your wedding and there are many things to be done and you shouldn't have to worry about this. Let your finance do some worrying for you. ok, you wrote this one hour ago. here goes: call her. ask her what stage of doneness the invites are in. if they are done and are sitting on her kitchen table then, how far away are you from her? can you get in the car with your addresses and drive to her house and stay up until they are all addressed? then you can go yourself in person to the post office with them tomorrow and have them weighed ( most times normal stamps wont work!!) and send them out tomorrow morning. make sure you yourself, in person, see them correctly stamped, filled, closed and sealed, and then mailed. then, tomorrow you can call everyone on your list and let them know, happily, to save the date as there is an invite coming. hopefully most already are aware of the date and of your upcoming wedding. is it possible to have your mom help you with this. i agree with others that you can work it out and people do understand. dont stress. if it turns out that the lady does not have the invites done or cant explain when they will be done, then, read the other posts and go to town. you can !!!! have suitable invites by this time tomorrow in the mail. kinkos may help, if none of the other ideas here dont work for you. just phone people and let them know they are invited. all will be well, you are smart to address this immediately.. good luck.
I agree with most of the others. QUICKLY print some of your own. Send them NOW with a request to RSVP via telephone or email.

If it's not too big of a project, calling the guest may be a good idea too. Gather a few reliable friends to do the calling with the basic info (date, time %26amp; location) and a short explanation of why the invites are late.
